なんとか前回の記事でMGサザビーを二足歩行させることができましたが、以下の問題が出てきました。
3Dプリントしたサーボホーンのギザギザが破損する問題
当初、サーボーホーンのギザギザも3Dプリントしてつくったのですが、実際にロボットを動かすと、ものの見事に破損してしまいました。強度がまるで足りないようです。しかたないのでサーボーホーンのギザギザは3Dプリントせず、サーボに付属のサーボホーンを、3Dプリントした部品に組み込む形式に変更したところ、破損せずに動作するようになりました。
その後、サーボホーンの材質をMJF PA12GBからナイロンに変更した結果、サーボーホーンのギザギザが破損しなくなりました！
PA12GBは強度がナイロンより高いですが、割れやすいので、サーボホーンはナイロンで作ることをおすすめします。
SG92Rのサーボギアが頻繁に破損する問題
今使っているSG92Rは500円程度と安いサーボモーターなのですが、ギアがプラスチック製なのでロボットを動かしていると結構な頻度でギアが破損し、モータを取り換えることになりました。
さすがにこれではモーションを作る段階に進めないので、こちらのMG90Dに換装することにしました。MG90Dは360度旋回タイプが約880円と倍近い値段がしますが、ギアが金属製なので破損のストレスがなくなること、6.0vでも駆動できるようになりレギュレータなしでLi-Feバッテリーが使えるようになること、などの理由から換装することにしました。
幸い、高さを除く外形はSG92Rとほぼ同じなので、インナーフレームの変更は最小限で済みそうです。
ロボットのサーボーモーターは耐久性が大事！
メタルギアのサーボモーターを使うことをおすすめします。
バッテリーの出力が足りない問題
こちらのモバイルバッテリーをロボットの電源として使っていたのですが、モータに供給する電力が足らずモータの動作が不安定になることがありました。
計測したところ、バッテリーの最大出力が2.1Aに対して、2.5Aを要求していました。
電源をこちらの安定化電源に切り替えたところ、動作が安定しました。
